Cap is worthless

The workmanship is somewhat crude but that’s fine for my reenactment needs. The gimmick does work.

The cap is worthless. It doesn’t screw on and doesn’t fit snugly. Don’t consider wearing it in your pocket. If you need to do that, throw away the top and buy a cork that fits.

A real stunner

Bruce was a good friend and one of the best performers of magic you could find. This effect is Bruce at his best. The patter may not work for all, but suited him to a tee. I have performed this effect to a variety of audiences. Modifying the patter to suit the atmosphere at the time. It is simple to perform and a shocker to watch. God must have loved it now that Bruce is performing to a eternal bunch now.

I miss him

Norm.

Sea-Ling’s Family Ties

This is a puzzling/visual ribbon restoration effect utilizing very intricate/sophisticated engineering. I am sure that Gerlitz spent many engineer design hours to ensure that all would work perfectly (which it does). Although the set-up initially appears complex, it is actually quite easy to set-up following the very clear directions. This is an effect that spectators will have a very hard time trying to figure out the working. It is a nice compact size, terrific artwork, works flawlessly, and is easy to perform. I especially like the visual vanish of the ribbon ends in the center block. If you want magic that mystifies an audience and also like expertly engineered magic then Gerlitz magic is for you!!!

Hexed Ring Box

Having a diameter of 6.5cm (2½ in), this ring box comes from FunTime Magic of India. Although easy to understand, it is a little stiff to use and requires sleight of hand. It should not be shown to audience members as the secret is obvious on inspection. Although attractive in design, it is clearly hand-made and is not of the highest standard.

Thinking Outside the Box

Card boxes are a dime a dozen.

Don’t get me wrong, there are dozens that are absolutely wonderful. But, there are also dozens that are just plain boring or ineffective.

What The Trickery and Magic Wagon have done here is taken a tried and true piece of apparatus and ramped it up. To a very high level. In true Magic Wagon fashion, this piece is a jewel the minute you open the box. The look, the feel. So fine. It just tells your audience, "You are about to see something special."

The effects you can do with this box are nothing new. They’re classic predictions, transitions, etc. It’s the quality of presentation that is the star here. This box is for collectors, without a doubt. But for the discerning performer…an elegant, precision presenter of classic effects… this box is made for you.

I’m not a pro, but I can easily imagine an entire routine built around this box. It’s just that beautiful.

Enjoy. Magic craftsmanship doesn’t get much better than this.

The Inscrutable Francois Danis

He just gets better and better in my opinion. This Illusion offers mystery, whimsy and pure magic. Told in storybook fashion you tell the story of the Treasurer and a theft which leads to a grisly Act which in the end satisfies all the requirements for a magical ending. The workmanship rivals Warner and is a joy to behold. Again something you will perform when you remove it from the cabinet.

Woodwork is Great, but Leaves Something Lacking Elsewhere

The woodwork on this Mikame prop is great! However, I was disapppinted with the black ribbon that is used as the rollers. Specifically, I have experienced problems with two of these and both showed signs of fraying along the outer edges of the ribbon. There are comparable versions available that have better ribbon but not as high quality framing. So make your choice depending on your priorities.
