Two Tricks in One!

This is pretty sweet … I almost sold it a while back, then got it out and realised how much fun it is! You start off by showing a deck of cards all different and having one chosen and lost back in the pack. Then you take some of the cards and stick them all over the wooden board.

You give the gun to a spectator to load and then start spinning the board, firing the gun as it spins. The card that is hit is there card!

Now, having shown how real the gun is you can move into the next feature: have the gun loaded again. Blow up a balloon and give the gun to the spectator to aim at the balloon – that is held in your mouth by your teeth. They shoot, the balloon pops and in your teeth is the feather dart!

Clean and Simple Transformation

This looks quite startling when you see it. You show a think piece of wood with a round circle in, drop it in the box and dangle a cord through the hole and through the circle. Spectator chooses one of the geometric shapes, and places it on the box. After they pull it through, the piece of wood now has the shape they choose instead of the circle.

This is direct and nicely made!

Show three symbols, specator choose anyone and the box is tipped open – with no funny moves. There is clearly only one prediction in the box, and it matches.

Cheaper but still great!

Even when Richard spends some time down in the “cheap” seats, his stuff is still wonderful. This piece is no exception. The ring appears to just melt into the cards – and it does! Nice gimmick!

Beautiful Box – Great Prediction!

I always liked this effect from Collector’s Workshop. It works great and looks very convincing. There is even a logical reason for the box – to store the sword! Great!

Nicely made clockwork chest!

This is a normal looking chest whose lid can eerily rise. Not sure what the best routine for it is, but it is a smooth, quiet operator and I’m sure if I ever sit down to think about it I’ll come up with some ideas!

Very nice – but what do you do with it?

Well this is a very nicely made effect – bulb hangs from the string and you bring a light, match, or any light source close to it and the bulb will light up. Then a blow on the light and it goes out again. The unit can be examined and nothing can be seen to give it away. However, the problem I have with it is what do you use it for? Any ideas out there?

A well made version of this Classic!

I’ve always liked this sucker effect where you expose the method and then recover! This particular version is the best quality I’ve seen – but what do expect from George down at Viking. There isn’t much else you can do in McAllen than make good magic!!!
