Simple and Very well made

I haven’t been able to afford some of RIchard’s stuff recently but picked up a couple of his cheaper items over Christmas. This box is not a sure-shot box which is what I thought it was. But it works real well, and to my mind is less error prone than the old sure-shot boxes.

A simple ruse allows a very clean prediction of the shaken dice. And of course its very clean and beautifully made as is all of Richard’s stuff!

This looks very real!

If you look at the photos of this effect it should look very realistic to you. The picks are nearly all ungaffed and it really looks like you are sticking them straight through your hand.

A clever optical illusion is played on the audience and I use this as a warm-up for Death Trap so it has even more impact.

Clean force when you want to force a color

Lee Woodside is always looking for some simple ideas and nice looking materials that he can turn into wonderful marvels to fool and entertain.

When you need to force a color nothing comes cleaner than this deck. They look innocent and the force is sure-fire with no skill.

Nice props and direct effect!

This is a nicely made prop that allows you to detect which card is the spectators, supposedly due to their fingerprints. As you place different cards into the slot at the top, everything is quiet until suddenly the bell goes off, and of course its their card.

Well made, easy to do and a bit different.

Don’t leave home without your Jets!

These are great! If you want a simple and portable backdrop system that is well priced and versatile then look no futher than these Jet Sets from Abbotts.

I have had two sets of material created for them: one in black the other in red, white and blue as shown and they really add to the impact of your performance.

There are better backdrop systems on the market, but for the price these Jets are hard to beat!

Very visual!

For the money this Ickle Pickle effect can’t be beat. Just pick up the box show it from all sides and then suddenly in an instant its full of cash!

That’s the way to do it! Make sure you get the Spring Loaded version!

Abbott’s Daring Spring Trap

This is a very nice item in the right hands. While not an effect, per se, it’s great to use in a card revelation (which is what I do). It’s basically just a standard animal trap without teeth. If you want to do comedy magic it’s for you, if you want to do magick, you can use this and if you want to do geek, this will fit the bill. Very underused, but that’s good for those of us who do use it. While it’s a little scary the first few times, I recommend giving it a try.

Richbark model of the Devano rising cards..

This deck, while not cheap, is worth the money. You’ll never have to replace anything “sticky”…if you know what I mean. The gimmick has “pinpoint” accuracy. I recommend this deck for the performer.

Great routine, convicing props, is this real mindreading?

Lee Woodside is a clever magician. He has some great ideas that work. This one is cool and with all the dressing up goes from a simple effect to something much stronger.

Its a clean booktest with bells on. Keep them coming Lee!

The Poor Man’s Crystal Money Chest!

Of course I don’t do Dove work, but this box really works out to be pretty good if you can’t afford the Crystal Money Chest from Owens at $2300+!

It loads easy, looks clean, and with just a very slight motion is very convincing. The box itself is not as heavy duty as it looks, but as long as you don’t throw it around too much, it should last a long time and service you well. This of course is the price you pay for saving over two grand!

I’m sure it works great with doves too!
