Capitulating Cards by Gary Plants, James Swain

Effect: You show four cards of the same denomination but different suits, and ask your spectator to select a suit. You turn the cards over and the suit they selected has an odd colored back. Your spectator will think you’re very lucky. You .have him select a different suit, and when you turn the cards over, it happens again. He selects another suit and it happens again.

You decide to push your luck and try again. He selects the last suit. You turn over the cards. This time the back of the selected card doesn’t change. The backs of all the other cards change. Now each card has a different back. Your spectator will want to examine theses card, So…. You hand them out for examination.
