Dove To Rabbit by Gene Elmo

A great production item from Gene Elmo. Of course you don’t have to use livestock. It has a very large load capacity and you can come up with all sorts of combinations of items to vanish and appear. This is basically a large version of U.F. Grants Crystal Silk Cylinder.

Notice: It is missing the lid – this is not required for the performance.

Includes:

• Dove To Rabbit tubes and base (no lid).
• A small orange silk (11″x11″) (bonus).
• A (slightly worn) large  yellow silk (34″ x 30″) (bonus).
• 7 plastic lemons and 1 orange (bonus).

Notice: I don’t have the original instructions but I am including a copy of those for Grant’s Crystal Silk Cylinder.

Effect: I show the cover empty and take the orange and yellow silk from the tube.  I point out the difference in size between the large yellow and the small yellow silk.  Placing both inside the tube. I then cover them with the sleeve and immediately show they have changed to 7 lemons and a single solitary orange.

It is so beautiful and works so automatically, it’s unheard of. One hand removes the cover, the other hand drops in the dove. Instantly, the cover is replaced and removed and ‘low and behold” the dove has changed to a live rabbit 🙂
