It is always a treat when I open up a package from the great German craftsman Willi Wessel. This is one of Willi’s most popular effects. It was only released in small numbers in Germany as SPRING WÜRFEL or Jumping Die in English.
It is a Mini Version of an old effect Willi found in a magic magazine (most likely this effect was Rib-Block). Willi came up with an improved handling for his mini version.
When I watched the custom video Willi sent me I was completely surprised when the die jumped! I didn’t see that coming at all. I particularly like how fair and deliberate everything Willi does is, no signs of trickery – just great magic.
Willi has also created an explanation video for this effect so you will learn how to do it from the master.
Includes:
Effect: You clearly show a frame and large red die with a hole through the middle. After showing the ribbon solid you thread the ribbon through the frame and the die, securing the die into the frame.
A mystic pass is made and when you least expect it the die jumps right up into the air off of the ribbon. It is very clean and die, frame and ribbon can all be examined.
Made in Walnut.
