Black Hole (T-104) by Tenyo
(c. 1980) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)What a great Tenyo effect – it doesn’t look like much when you first open the package, but the effect is really clean and really easy to do.
It is this sort of effect that makes you want to buy more Tenyo items. 🙂
Effect: A plastic card, upon which is imprinted a SLACK HOLE is inserted into a beautifully decorated case. The spectator holds his hand under the case and PRESTO, the HOLE falls onto his palm. When the card is removed, it has a cut out hole exactly equal to the solid BLACK HOLE held by the spectator. In a flash, the card restores itself.
This is space-age magic at its best. At the end, the card really is restored, and bears minute examination. The beauty of the trick is that oven though the card is inserted into a case, the edges of the card remain constantly in view.
BEST OF ALL: the trick is almost self-working.
