This is not up there with Eddy Taytelbaum’s version, but none others are. However, it is a nicely made version of this effect and works smoothly.
Effect: You remark … “It is commonly said that you can’t put a Round Peg in a Square Hole” … and so saying … you demonstrate that they really make a perfect combination! A Playing Card with a Square Hole in its center, is placed into a hinged Perspex Holder. A Cork is now pushed right through the hole. Holder and card protrudes about 1/2″ below the holder thus firmly securing the card.
NOW, without any cover whatsoever, you very slowly and deliberately, pull the card clear and IMMEDIATELY give EVERYTHING for EXAMINATION! It’s a real fooler!
