Crystal Dimension Mirror (Warlock Simplex Penetration) by Tannen’s, Peter Warlock

This effect was invented by Peter Warlock c. 1950 and featured in The Linking Ring December 1950. Unlike his Quadruple Penetration it does not require a frame around the glass.

Effect: A round, 14″ diameter mirror is shown. The mirror sits openly on a 5″ base. There is no frame around the mirror. The entire mirror is in full view at all times. The base is very innocent-looking , it couldn’t possibly hide anything! Show a 24″ silk. Slowly, it penetrates right through the solid mirror! In full view of the audience! Take a 2″ sponge ball. It eerily penetrates right through the mirror IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION! Any small, solid object can penetrate through the mirror! The effect is astounding, to say the least. Doug Henning performed a version of this effect on TV! Crystal Dimension Mirror is a mini-illusion that can be done as close as a few feet! You can use it in birthday shows, platform shows, yet it’s large enough for the biggest stage show! Completely mechanical and very well made.
