To close out 2016 Magic Wagon pulled out all the stops to create this wonderful mechanical beauty! Impossible Coin Odyssey was inspired by Jack Hughes’ Visible Coins In Glass, Bob Kline’s Copenetro and Collectors’ Workshop Silver Odyssey and inspirational they were to produce such a clean and reliable visible coin penetration and appearance. A wonderful way to end another amazing year of magic from one of the worlds most prolific and beautiful collectible magic apparatus creators.
Effect: The Hands-Off Coin Thru Glass Miracle!
We are proud to offer one of the most effective and elegant versions of the “Coin Thru Glass” effect ever created!
An empty shot glass is placed on an elegant drawer box. Next, a larger glass is inverted over the shot glass isolating it completely. The performer now walks away, takes a coin, and causes it to magically travel from his hand to the shot glass, visibly penetrating the inverted glass with a loud “clink”! The hands-off penetration is visible, audible and truly sensational!
The intricate mechanism is amazing and allows the performer to stand several feet away when the magic happens! It is truly a masterpiece of engineering.
This beautiful wooden drawer box measures approximately 17cms wide x 6.5cms high x 17cms deep and is completely hand-crafted of genuine teak. Other close-up items can be stored and freely removed from the drawer and used before or after performing the “Coin Thru Glass”.
Comes complete with everything you need including 5 pages of Mr. John M. Talbot’s “Comic Coin” routine and other ideas, plus an optional way to perform the effect without using the glasses!
The mechanism takes a US Quarter or any similar sized coin. Use your own country coin and close-up items like a deck of cards, dice or Sharpie, etc.
Impossible Coin Odyssey has been inspired by Jack Hughes’ Visible Coins In Glass, Bob Kline’s Copenetro and Collectors’ Workshop Silver Odyssey.

I think Magic Wagon did a wonderful job with this piece and I really enjoyed working on the instructions and routine for it. A couple of years ago I made a Christmas themed video highlighting this piece … https://youtu.be/krDiTIdiYXc
