Jumping Signed Bill by Ickle Pickle, Magiro

(c. 1987) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This is very similar to Magiro’s effect called Geldschein-Wunder released by Eckhard Boettcher c. 1989. Since Ickle Pickle’s version was released c. 1987 it could appear that both Magiro and Steve Bender (of Ickle Pickle) invented this effect independently. However, based on the caliber and frequency of the effects that Magiro has invented I think it is much more likely that Magiro did in fact invent this earlier and I simply don’t have a record of an earlier date.  If you have any new info about this please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Effect: A spectator’s bill, which he signs or marks, is placed inside a 9″ silk with a rubber band. The silk, rubber band and bill are then placed inside a glass. The glass is covered with an aluminum tube. Before you can blink, the bill has jumped from one tube to the other. But even more amazing, the opening of the second glass is now covered with the 9″ silk which is held on by the rubber band and the bill is inside the glass under the silk. And, yes, the spectator removes the band and the silk to discover that it is, indeed, his SIGNED Bill.

  • Two 9″ silks (color may vary)
  • Two glasses
  • Two spun aluminum tubes (3.5″ x 5.5″)

  1. William

The best money I have spent in a long time.

Well built and thought out I have used it for years and no one has even told me how I did it! You do have to watch that the glasses don’t break but you can work that problem out easy.
