The M Wallet by Paul Brignal, Martin Breese
(c. 1980) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This method for this wallet appears to be very similar to Richard Himber’s Thought Control wallet with the one difference in that Paul’s wallet also allows you to switch a card or billet placed inside. These were marketed by Martin Breese.
Effect: A spectator chooses a card, signs his name across its face and returns it to the deck. The magician removes a prediction from his wallet and asks the spectator to read it. It says, “Your card is the top card of the deck.”
The top card is turned over and is seen to bear the message, “Wrong card … look in the wallet.”
The magician picks up the wallet, opens the compartment and takes from within the spectator’s signed chosen card.
