Woofle Dust Shaker by Harold Voit

(c. 2011) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

The idea of using magic powder to distract attention from a sleight or move has been around for centuries. It is used whenever a magician needs some misdirection typically to ditch a gimmick or pick-up something for the next phase in an effect. It was first described c. 1584 by Prevost used to ditch the thread in the Gypsy Thread effect. The term Woofle Dust first appears in the original Tarbell Course c. 1927 (Lesson 2, Tarbell Course, Mystery of the Burning Cigarette) and it has been used ever since.

Effect: The perfect little gimmick for the perfect misdirection! Bring it out-shake it and it squeaks, squeaks and squeaks and the magic that you want to happen, happens! The invisible dust does the magic for you! Use it for productions, vanishes, sleights and the spectators love it. Excellent German quality made to last and easy to carry.

EXTRA BONUS: The gimmick also allows you to produce a coin that appears in an empty hand.
