Multiplying Soap Bubbles by Vernet

Think of this:

The performer blows and makes a few streams of bubbles. After few attempts to catch them the audience can see that he has caught one of the bubbles and holds it in his forefinger and thumb. Then he reaches for a second bubble catching it between the fingers. This goes until four transparent bubbles are held in the finger tips of his hand as in the classic multiplying balls.
