Custom Thumb Tip by Arlen Studio

For 20+ years I have tried to find a thumb tip that looks half way real and actually fits my thumb comfortably. Until this custom one from Keith Arlen Lack came out I was unable to find one.  This expensive Thumb Tip (probably not expensive when you factor in the work required to create it, but for a thumb tip $100 is clearly right up there!) fits perfectly and comes off easily too. That has always been my problem, I’ve managed to get the tip on, but it was always a struggle to get it off.

It also looks very good. My one is more pink that I would like, but I am working with Keith to get it closer to my color. Keith is very dedicated to his magic so I have no doubt we’ll get the color perfect too. It’s not even that big a deal, but it would be nice.

Should you buy one? If you have problems finding a thumb tip that fits then for sure order one now! However, if you have no problems with the hundreds of tips out there, then I’m not sure. There are good thumb tips available that look real close, and it is hard to justify the extra expense. But for me I have tried so many and none of them come close to fitting as well as this beauty does.

The wrinkles and nail are picture perfect. Look at the photos above and you’ll see what we mean. We sculpt the nail to look like your nail. We even add the wrinkles and any freckles or moles you may have. The edge is ultra thin so as to blend in well around your finger. We sculpt the edge to look like a wrinkle so as to better blend in with the natural wrinkle of your finger just were it bends at the first digit of the finger with plenty of room in the tip to hold stuff.

I know, I know, you should be able to use a screaming red TT without it being seen if you are good enough. Right? Wrong!!!! I think the guy that came up with that was performing for blind people five feet away. With our TT you can perform right under their noses. The fact is, why not have the best most realistic TT available so you do not have to worry so much about being burned, or all the thumb hiding behind your hand and fast movements. Most importantly, if you have trouble with the current TTs on the market due to size, fit or shape, I can make one to fit any digit.

If you do a finger through shirt, than this is the prosthetic for you. We can put a powerful magnet in a TT as well and now you have a safe sure fire watch stop at your finger tips. No more bulky brick size magnet strapped to your wrist that you need a long sleeve shirt to hide. We can even make a TT to hold the contents of a shot glass. Think about that for a moment.

Here is how it works. Once you place your order, we send you a super easy to use molding kit. It contains all you need to make a mold of your thumb or finger. Super easy to follow instructions are included. Once you make the mold of your thumb or finger, you can use the color chart provided to show us the best color of your skin or you can send a photo of your Thumb or Finger (preferred method is both). Then just pop it in the mail to us. Once we get your TT or FT mold, we will do the rest. It usually takes about two weeks to get your Custom TT back in the mail. All our TT are made of a durable hard shell polymer ideal for this purpose. These will last a life time with proper care. Soft TT’s can be made but I have yet to find a use for them. Too flimsy.
