Creekmore Hank Box and Tray by Abe Creekmore
(c. 1980) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is a time-honored classic piece of magic apparatus first created in the 1870’s and know for many years as “Jap Box“, though that name has fallen out of favor in recent times. It can be used for productions, vanishes, color changes, and any combination of those. There are many sources for effects and routines to be found in magic literature such as Rice’s Encyclopedia of Silk Magic and Jap Box Tricks by Glenn Gravatt.
This is by far the best engineered and best looking Hank box I have seen. It is a shame that I have not been able to get more Abe Creekmore magic as he clearly was one of the great builders in magic.
Effect: What a beauty this is. Not only does it look great it is very solidly made and the dual flap mechanisms are very precise and work cleanly every time. There is also a load chamber in the tray base too.

The Best Hank Box!
