This is based upon Attaboy invented by the legendary British Inventor, Craftsman, and Dealer Jack Hughes in the 1930’s.
This is Fairchild Entertainment’s version and it is the exact same effect as Attaboy – though now it works with poker sized cards (most of the original Jack Hughes’ and Abbott’s ones did not) – and it is big and showy to be seen by many. This surely opens this wonderful effect up to a whole new generation of would be wizards and Harry Potter fans. I have one minor complaint – a little bit of felt would go along way to make this a totally quiet Wizard. Otherwise, the action is very smooth.
Effect: Very colorful 24″ high, quality wood and excellent silk screen paint. This has the “Fairchild” sticker on the bottom.
3 or more cards are selected and returned to the deck, which is placed into the Houlette at the Wizard’s feet. One by one the cards are removed and passed before Zanadu’s eyes and dropped into the top Houlette. The spectator may call out stop at anytime. The card turned out to be one of the chosen cards. Repeated until all chosen cards have been revealed. Works great with alphabet cards, spelling out the name of the birthday child. (No decks of cards are supplied, it uses regular decks or an alphabet deck)
This comes with original instructions, a wonderful piece of magic apparatus

Andy Martin –
Attaboy for the Potter Generation!
I’ve always liked Jack Hughes’ Attaboy, but felt that it was starting to look a bit dated. So along comes Fairchild Entertainment and produces the high quality and wonderful Zanadu – The Card Wizard. It is the exact same effect as Attaboy – though now it works with poker sized cards (most of the original Abbott’s ones did not, though according to my sources in Arizona some did) – and it is big and showy to be seen by many – it is 24" high.

Highly Recommended!
