The original Vampire Block was created by Ben Wallace, see here for more details.
This was beautifully constructed by Edwin McDonald who apprenticed under Walter Sheppard. Edwin was the best kept secret in magic as he has built some of the most beautiful pieces of equipment in the past 20 years. If you live in Southwest Ohio, you know who Edwin is. He is an artist and a fine builder. Nice Combination.
Effect: This is the only one built. It is a beautifully done vampire block with this twist: once you pierce the block with the stake, you can pick up the whole thing supported by the chain only. It disproves the theory that the stake never locks in the block for in this version it does! You can release the block for the penetration effect at your command. It is always under your control. A great piece and there is only one!
