This box is so exquisitely made that I can honestly say, having owned both this and the original P&L model, that I believe it is better than the original old P&L version. Gorgeous natural finished wood with brass hardware and those trademark four big brass knobs, two on top and two on front. This is from a sold out edition of 24 units and there will be absolutely no more ever made.
