Khyber Chicken by Collectors’ Workshop

My one is one of a kind – it has been retrofitted to look like a hen in a hen house. Wonderful detail and certainly different! Or if you prefer check-out the Khyber Raccoon for another one of a kind.
Effect: In 1987, The Khyber Kobra automaton was the single biggest seller in CW’S History (though I believe it was later superseded by Jumbo Sidekick that came out c. 1989):
- He rises, but with the wrong card
- He returns to the basket to try again
- Groups of cards come flying out of the basket
- The Cobra rises again! This time, he’s got it
- He descends (complacently) into the basket
- But he returns, just peeking above the basket to share the applause
