Jumbo Balloon Wand 2 by Chance Wolf
(c. 2008) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)When looking at Card in Balloon effects it is important to distinguish between the Comedy Card in Balloon effect (epitomized by Warren Stephens with a tray and three balloons) and the more straight forward Card in Balloon effect (epitomized by Hathaway). Chance’s versions fall squarely in the Comedy camp!
This is the second version of Chance Wolf’s Jumbo Balloon Wand. The first Jumbo Balloon Wand was great, but the design was aimed more for kids shows and slightly less streamlined. This new version works perfectly for all audiences. It is a dream to set-up and like all of Chance’s amazing magic works 100% of the time. When it comes to performing magic, any prop that doesn’t work 100% of the time is going to stay on the shelf most of the time – maybe this is why they are called Collectible!
Effect: Based on the Warren Stephens Balloon Tray
We are happy to re-release a great effect from our original line up. Due to new manufacturing capabilities, we are able to produce this effect once again keeping the same original great price! PLUS!!..we have added some great new features and re-designed the overall prop so it may be used in ADULT SHOWS as well as Children’s shows! Overall. it is a sleeker, more user friendly prop that is sure to please everyone. The effect is as follows.
We’ve given the Classic Warren Stephens Balloon Tray a Wacky Wolf FACE-LIFT and recreated it as a Jumbo Wand! We added the use of a deck of JUMBO CARDS for Maximum Viewing from your audience! This is the same routine as the Original effect. Spectator selects a card, card is lost in the deck and deck is placed into Houlette. The Wand, with HOULETTE ATTACHED, is lifted from the base. Facing the audience, magician offers the spectator a FREE CHOICE of ANY of the THREE Balloons and states that the card will magically appear in the chosen Balloon. Before the spectator can make a decision, one Balloon SLOWLY DEFLATES. ( Laughter) Magician continues offering a FREE CHOICE of ANY of the..er..TWO BALLOONS and the Card will magical….PLBLBLBLBT!! The Second Balloon FLIES OFF the WAND! (More laughter) Magician continues…er…ok…you have a free choice of THIS balloon. Spectator of course chooses this Balloon and POP!! the balloon explodes and the JUMBO CARD APPEARS!! Solid Mechanics and absolutely NO HAND MOTION is detected when triggering each gimmick! Even comes with a JUMBO DECK of CARDS!!
This routine is a Classic Guaranteeing Plenty of LAUGHS!
Please note, to reduce manufacturing time and final cost, the HANDLES ARE NO LONGER REMOVABLE. The Wand itself DOES NOT BREAK DOWN for packing. The Houlette and Stand are removable. A sturdy Mailing Tube is included to transport your Wand from show to show. A small box is only needed to hold the Houlette and Base.
Magnetic Stand, Houlette and Wand all break down for storage quick as a wink! This is designed to Pack Flat and PLAY REAL BIG!! Wand, Magnetic Base, Houlette, Jumbo Cards and plenty of balloons are all included!

Time to Peform Magic again!
One of the problems of collecting a lot of magic is that you never find time to actually perform it. The real magic only occurs when you perform in front of a live audience. The ironic thing is that many effects that are prized collectibles are often not practical to perform. Not so with the Magical Wolf Man! His magic is for sure collectible, but it is even more performable.

As with all of my recent Wolf’s Magic purchases this will stay in the collection and I look forward to performing it to real people soon!
