Goblet Routine by El Duco’s Magic

(c. 1990) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

The 20th century silk effect for the close-up performer!

Effect: What a beautiful and different routine! On the table is a high “silver” goblet. You take two red silks and tie them together. The silks are placed into the goblet. Now you take a white silk and tie it around the stem of the goblet. No false knots. It’s really tied around with a genuine knot. Cover the goblet with a napkin or handkerchief. You don’t touch the silks or the goblet with your hands when you are doing this. A magic spell. Remove the hank. The silk which was tied around the stem has vanished!! Where is it?

Take out the two red silks from the goblet. Tied between the two red silks is the red one!! A very nice routine and a strong effect. Because of an ingenious principle, the trick is nearly self-working. You can concentrate on the presentation.

Comes complete with the beautiful silver goblet (6,5″high), all the silks, the gimmick and routine.

Everything can be examined! It’s an elegant routine which can be performed to music or patter with equal results. All you need to supply is a large opaque cloth handkerchief or dinner napkin. Note: This routine is best performed while seated.
