French Guillotine by Mak Magic

Effect: This solid, realistic looking guillotine stands almost six feet high The large heavy blade ZOOMS down thru the neck stock and OUT THE BOTTOM CLEAR TO THE FLOOR.
As suggested and used by Jack Gwynne. The effect with this new model is really startling. You can feature it in any show. Use a comedy presentation, a dramatic, sensational climax. Wonderful publicity possibilities. This new model guillotine is very sturdily built and looks its part. Still, it folds down small for easy carrying. The size when folded is 34″ x 20″ x6″.
Quality construction. A big illusion at an illusionette price.

Always Looks ‘Wimpy’
No guillotine in history had a metal blade that severed the victim’s neck without being bolted into some sort of block that added weight to its descent.
The blade appears so light that it would just bounce up from a victim’s neck.
My advice: Save up for something that will make your audience gasp when it’s revealed.
