This is a wonderful mini illusion that is great for parlor or small stage settings and it looks pretty amazing. In effect you have a card chosen and discover it is the wrong card. As punishment you fire up the fan and the audience can clearly see the fan rotating back and front. Then you put a cover on the front with two armholes and you take their card and thrust it through from the back of the fan. When you hand emerges out the front, the card has been ripped up but it has changed to their card, and your hand is unharmed, with the fan still spinning!

The motor can be heard all the time and the fan can be seen to keep spinning before, during, and after your hand goes through. This item looks just like a real fan of about 10″ x 10″. This makes for a great alternative to head and wrist choppers, and looks more dangerous.

This exciting new trick can be the feature of your show. Professionally routined by Devin Knight and used in his professional performances. Magician shows a small electric fan roughly 10″ x 10″. The fan is turned on and shown to be a normal working fan. Performer points out that the grill is NORMALLY THERE to prevent you from cutting off your fingers!

Magician then boldly states he will put his magic career on the line. If he FAILS to find a selected card, then as PUNISHMENT he will thrust his fingers into the dangerous spinning blades and end his career as a magician!

Magician shows there are two small cutouts in the fan’s grill that are just large enough for the magician to pass each of his hands thru. Performer shows a piece of foam board with three holes in it. Two pieces of cloth cover the two hand holes. He places it over the outer part of the fan covering the front. You say in the event you have to put your fingers into the fan, this cover will help prevent BLOOD FROM FLYING OUT INTO THE AUDIENCE, NOT TO MENTION FLYING FINGERS. The center of the fan remains in FULL view at all times due to a hole in the center of the foam board. The fan is now turned back on. It is SEEN and HEARD to be spinning. He can lift the cloth flaps on the front at anytime showing the spinning fan.

The CENTER OF THE FAN IS ALWAYS SEEN SPINNING THRU THE CUTOUT HOLE IN THE BOARD. The performer has a card selected and returned to the deck. He says if he fails to find the card, then he will thrust his hand into the fan as PUNISHMENT. The suspense builds…magician puts the deck behind his back and removes the WRONG CARD. He pleads for second chance but the audience says NO….magician says he is true to his word and will cut off his fingers as punishment!

The WRONG CARD is held by the right hand. Suddenly the magician VISIBLY thrusts his hand and the wrong card into the spinning blades! The magician lets out a scream and the card he is holding IS INSTANTLY RIPPED BY THE SPINNING FAN. Yet, the magician’s hand is UNHARMED! But wait….The ripped card has MAGICALLY CHANGED into the selected card!!! Magician says, “Is this your card?” IMPOSSIBLE! DESPITE THIS,THE FAN IS STILL SEEN TO BE STILL SPINNING. EVEN THOUGH THE MAGICIAN’S HAND IS SEEN PASSING THRU IT! Your hand is removed UNHARMED. The cover is removed from the cutouts, once again giving the audience a full view of the spinning fan. No blood, no mess! The ripped selected card is left with the spectator as a souvenir. THIS BAFFLING AND VISUAL ILLUSION WILL LEAVE ANY AUDIENCE DUMBFOUNDED! The suspenseful card routine will leave the audience on the EDGE OF THEIR SEATS! 100% COMMERCIAL AND HIGHLY ENTERTAINING.
