If you think that Cube-A-Libre is a great trick, wait until you see Goran Klyve’s Crazy Cubes! Made by our friends at Harries Magic in Sweden, the effect is perfect for platform or stage. And, the props are constructed with the attention to detail you have come to expect from Harries Magic.
Effect: Show four large cubes, numbered 1,2, 3 and 4. Also show an empty square tube that fits perfectly over the stack of cubes. Stack the cubes up in numerical order. The bottom cube is 1 and the top cube is 4. Cover the cubes with the square tube and count to four. When you lift the tube, the cubes are still in numerical order. However, the 1 is now on top and the 4 is on the bottom! The cubes have completely reversed themselves! Do it again! Stack the cubes so they are in numerical order with the 4 on the top and the 1 on the bottom. Cover the cubes with the tube and, when you lift the tube, the cubes have reversed themselves again. The 1 is on the top and the 4 is on the bottom!
One more time! Drop the cubes into the tube in random order. You can even put them in upside down or with the numbers facing the side or the back. When you lift the tube, the cubes are back in numerical order with the 1 on the top and the 4 on the bottom!.
For the big finish, arrange the cubes is any order at all. The spectators can even decide where each cube should go. Cover the cubs with the tube. When you lift the tube, the cubes are back in numerical order, but each cube is upside down! A great routine, filled with magic and laughter. The beautifully made props are designed to last forever. Comes complete with cubes, tube, gimmicks and full routine.

Andy Martin –
I prefer this to Cube A Libre
I’ve always had a soft spot for this effect from Harries of Sweden – it is well made, looks great, and is less confusing and easier to perform than the more traditional six block Cube A Libra.
