Ultimate ABC Blocks (Large) by Mel Babcock

Effect: This classic effect involves three different colored wooden blocks painted with the letters A, B, and C. The stack is covered with a wooden tube. Next, a topless rectangular box is shown absolutely empty. Now, with just a flick of the wrist, the center “B” block instantly and visibly appears in the open-topped box. The block is removed and shown on all six sides. The tube is removed from the stack to show that the center “B” block is gone. The “B” block that just appeared in the box is set over the spindle and on top of the two remaining blocks of the stack. (The gimmick for this effect was an idea of James Webb of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.)

Mel also provides his standard ABC Blocks without the extra box to reappear the “B” and you use your own hat, etc.

Mel produced this effect in five sizes: Jumbo (5″), Giant (4″), Large (3″), Small (2.25″), and Mini (1.25″).
