Wooden Wonder Box by Mikame Craft

(c. 2001) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

The Wonder Silk Box (or Silk Wonder Box) was invented by János Bartl from Hamburg in Germany c. 1934, and licensed to Davenport’s in April 1934 to sell under the name Demon Wonder Box. Earlier versions had two sides come down (like Mikame’s here) but later versions had all four sides fall down. You can read more here.

Effect: Show a small beautifully crafted wooden box. The two doors are dropped open showing a completely empty box. The doors are closed and an instant production of silks is made from the empty box!

  • Brass Hardware.
  • Smooth Interior.
