Quadra Bill (Mis-Made Bill) by Mak Magic

(c. 1988) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

The idea of creating a Mis-Made Bill by mis-cutting them from a larger uncut sheet of bills was first recognized by Canadian magician P. Howard Lyons c. 1956. The idea to change an ordinary bill into one of these Mis-made bills is credited to Jim Lewis (Genii, April 1988).

Effect: A dollar bill is shown and folded several times. When the bill is unfolded the middle is in the corners and the corners are in the middle. The magician re-folds the mismade bill and unfolds it revealing the bill to be in its original mint condition.

Props: One regular bill and one mis-made bill. These bills are rubber cemented together.
