Interlude II by Johnson Products

(c. 1977) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

Effect: The audience sees a simple plastic poker chip with a brightly colored center. Your hands are otherwise empty. Suddenly, a series of incredible color changes takes place. The poker chip is continually shown front and back and the hands are clearly shown after each change. For a finish, the chip is suddenly replaced by a half dollar and the poker chip is found in your pocket. Both the coin and chip are examinable at the end.

Interlude II gives the classic Spellbound routine a knockout climax. The possibilities with this gimmicked poker chip are so numerous, we’re certain that each performer will come up with his own handling and routine. The chip is made from a space-age industrial plastic so it looks and feels like a real poker chip. A beautifully machined piece of apparatus. Easy to follow routine included.
