Wizard of Odd by Nick de Palma
(c. 1999) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is Nick de Palma’s version of Jack Ruda’s Temple of Goo. Nowhere near as pretty as Jack’s effect but surprisingly good for Nick and worked well. Just don’t open up the base to see the electronics 🙁
Effect: Magician display a beautiful wood stand and cover. Magician removes cover displaying a wizard. Magician explains that the wizard can be placed in 4 different positions on the stand. Magician turns his back and instructs the spectator to move the wizard to any of the 4 positions and to place the cover on the stand hiding the position of the wizard. When magician turns around he picks up a small pad and pen and writes a number on the pad. Magician asks which position the wizard is in magician turns pad over showing the correct number position.
