I’ve been trying to move away from cool electronic items, but I must say this Spirit Bell by Nick Wenger is absolutely amazing.
It looks like some old contraption from Medieval times and even though you or the spectator build it piece by piece right in front of everyone, when you are done the bell still manages to ring on command. The Wenger Spirit Bell can be assembled by the spectators and then immediately be made to ring.
Even when you know how it works you still can’t believe it – I have never seen a Spirit Bell like this. It looks great, works great and really is an amazing piece of electronic wizardry.
Effect: The Wenger Spirit Bell can be assembled by the spectators and then immediately be made to ring. This bell has stumped some of the most knowledgeable magicians worldwide. This bell is a real fooler !!!
The Wenger Bell Box is the perfect box to hold you Wenger Spirit Bell , Bell from Hell or any other props that will fit into it’s 6” x 11” x 3”H interior. The Bell Box has a neat feature that allows the performer to make the lid on the box move like there is a unseen force trying to open the box. The box is under the performers control via a small R/C transmitter.
Each box is made from Poplar wood and aged to look like it came from another era in time, rusty nails, worn leather hinges, etc. The gimmicks are routed into the wood and then vacuum pressed with veneer to make them invisible. The box is totally examinable! Each box is handcrafted by Nick and take up to 5 hrs to complete.

I have just taken delivery of my Wenger Spirit Bell and will perform it for a Children’s Halloween show next week. A few of the things I like about this bell is that the movement of the swing arm can be seen from a great distance. It is more visible then a Bell that just shakes a little. If people are hard of hearing they will see this clearly. It looks very old and authentic. It does not look like any bell I have ever seen. It has various parts which can be put together right in front of the audience. They can even be examined. It is angle proof and is light. It packs flat and plays big.
The showmanship and a great creative story is critical in getting the most out of this. Changing the storylines means you can perform this for young and old alike. Excellent. Highly recommended!
