This effect is really easy to perform but , as is the case with most tricks of this type, it is up to the performer to give meaning to using the cards (some suggestions are included). There is also a handling which uses two spectators, each of whom thinks of one of the items. For the price, this is a good effect.

Effect: Vegemental uses six cards, each depicting a common fruit or vegetable. While the performer has his back turned the spectator mixes the cards and chooses one of the items at random and silently spells its name in order to “lock it in” mentally. Before the performer retrieves the cards the spectator mixes them again. The thought of item is immediately revealed. No sleights, no set-up, nothing written down, no additional props.
