Necklace Prediction by El Duco’s Magic

Effect: In the area of close-up mental magic, there is something quite charming about El Duco’s THE NECKLACE PREDICTION. The routine involves a small jewelry box which, it is explained, contains your prediction. Four dice, each a different color, are now introduced. The spectator chooses one die, and when the box is opened it is found to contain a link necklace, hanging from which is a “pendant” in the form of another die of the same color as the spectator’s choice.

This is direct and to the point, and the structure is nicely thought out. Having the dice in play presents opportunities to segue into a subsequent routine. Complete with props and instructions.
