My Lousy Inheritance by Fred Hager

A fun and entertainling routine with a cleverly gimmicked watch similar to Collectors’ Workshop’s Perfect Time where the spectator correctly determines the hour and minute when the magician’s mother-in-law passed away.

Effect: Magician asks a spectator if he would like to see his “Lousy Inheritance”. The magician displays a pill box containing an old wrist watch & a pair of dice. Inside the box is an “Inheritance “Scroll” which the magician reads. The poem asks the assistant to select a random time by tossing a set of dice. Amazingly, the spectator correctly determines the hour & minute when the magician’s mother-in-law died.

This is one outstanding comedy routine, as the poem is filled plenty of laughs. There is nothing to memorize. There is lots of audience participation, and an unbelievable surprise ending. (The assistant apparently does the magic!)
