Mental Epic Jr. by Gene Gordon
(c. 1956) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)I’ve always loved the Mental Epic effect created by Hen Fetcsh c. 1954. This one comes from the man who initially marketed the original version: Gene Gordon’s Magic Shop in Buffalo.
And here is one in pocket size bout 4.5” long, 3” wide. Made in beautiful plastic.
Effect: Briefly the effect is you show a slate that is marked off into six equal squares. You make three predictions in the top three spaces and cover them with three pieces of plastic. The spectator’s selections are written in the bottom three spaces. On uncovering your predictions they are seen to match the spectator’s EXACTLY!
Any type of item can be used. Any book, any word, any number, color, design, name, place, date and playing card. In the miracle class, it just doesn’t seem possible to predict their thoughts so easily. Requires absolutely no skill, no effort on your part. Self-working, self-contained. Complete with cloth carrying case.
