Diceolation by Magic Wagon

I am very proud to have played my part in Magic Wagon’s success over the last seven years – I started buying their magic way back in May 2006 and have been promoting them ever since. They have really created some incredible magic and really risen the bar as far as quality of manufacture and method are concerned. Just look at the amazing magic they have created. It is hard to find any other manufacturer who has produced as much quality magic, in such a short period of time.

These days every new release sells out almost immediately. Diceolation is no different, it looks beautiful and is about as clean as you can get to real mentalism. And one thing that will appeal to the purists – it does not use any electronics at all.

Basically they can choose any number on the dice (no force) and when they open up the little box that has been enclosed in the big box (to prevent any tampering) that number is shown on top. There are no dice to switch and in fact all you use are the big box, the little box, and the die. It is clean, easy to do, and very convincing.

Effect: A spectator is invited to call out any one of the six spots on a die. The choice is completely free and there is absolutely no force of any kind. The performer then directs attention to the antique style jewelry box that has been in full view the whole time and explains that prior to the show he made a prediction and isolated it away in this box. The box is then opened revealing a black velvet box which can be opened by the spectator himself. Surprisingly, the uppermost number of a die inside is a perfect match to the number chosen by the spectator! It is that direct.

Please note that the above routine can be performed under these fair conditions:

• The die was indeed placed inside the box before the spectator makes her selection – No loading of any kind!
• Only ONE die is used – No switching of the die at any time!
• Completely self-contained – No palming and nothing to hide!
• The spectator has an absolutely free choice of any of the 6 spots on a die!
• The effect can be immediately repeated with another free selection!
• The die can be removed by the spectator and both boxes can be completely examined!
• The box remains in full view at all times and the effect can be performed completely surrounded!

The black velvet box measures approximately 4cms square by 4cms high and the antique style wooden box measures approximately 14.5cms square by 8.5cms high and handcrafted with a high-gloss Jewelry Box finish and lined in quality velvet fabric.
