    Convoluted but Clever

So I’m not so sure of the story line for this item and it uses water which most of the time is just a pain. However, it works amazingly well and is very clever. In fact, Magic Wagon give directions where you just use one die but I have done it perfectly fine with two and even three. Two is probably the safest but with some practice I think three is also very possible. Of course predicting two or three dice is much more impressive than just one.

The key thing is that the dice can be shaken up many times in the glass and on the tabletop and they will always show different numbers, but when you pour the magic water (Poseidon’s) in, you can always predict the numbers. It is very cool to watch.

Not for everyone, but a clever principle indeed!

After reading Andy’s review I was a bit hesitant in buying this piece, but did so anyway and am very pleased with it! Yes, it appears simple, yet there’s a mystical quality at the same time, which I attribute to the miniature Trident. I love the look of the props when all together and performing it couldn’t be easier. As with most routines, a solid presentation and patter will result in resounding applause!!

I think this is one of those Magic Wagon pieces that flew under a lot of other’s radar. I have had this in my collection of magic and it always seems to amaze. The only drawback of this trick is that you will have to come up with a good story to go along with the trick. Other than that, I think that it is a very beautiful and amazing trick. Just like in the instructions, the performer never needs to be near the dice and it is almost self working. I really enjoy mine and would recommend it to others highly.
