Color Effect by Craig Brooks, Atlantis Magic
(c. 2006) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Color Effect is an item Craig has sold regularly for some time now and is a very strong mental effect with a magical twist finish.
Effect: Briefly, a color is privately selected by a spectator (form 8 different colors) by placing his thumb on the card and fixing the color in his mind (this can be done with the performer out of the room). The performer attempts to “read” the spectator to determine his selection. He eliminates several of the colors but fails to find the selected color. The spectator is invited to turn over the remainder of the cards that he did not select leaving his selection on the table. When he turns over this final card a thumbprint has magically appeared on the reverse side of the card.
Other presentations are possible and Craig has received nothing but positive responses from purchasers. The effect is complete with cards, thumbprint, and instructions. There is no fishing, no peeks, and no markings, yet you are 100% correct every time.
