This was invented by Magiro and released by Eckhard Boettcher as Mental Dosen c. 1985.
This was a bit of a pleasant surprise. The props are very simple looking, and yet without any funny moves at all you can always tell which can the coin is placed into. There are no gimmicks and everything can be examined before and after and you can repeat it with a different outcome immediately. You don’t even have to touch the cans.
Effect: Another brilliant micro magic miracle that would fool magicians. Four small black film canisters with different color lids are displayed. Spectator is asked to place a ring or coin in any of the canisters, secure the lid,and place all four on a plastic paddle. Performer pick up the paddle and
simply dumps the closed canisters into a bag. He immediately divines which color canister contains the spectator’s item.
