Auto Race by Theo Timmerman

Another great mentalism item from Theo Timmerman – the talented closed-up performer, creator and dealer from Holland and his Timmerman Magic Productions.

Effect: A deck of cards with old time cars on the faces are shuffled and placed face down on the table. A plastic mat is rolled out on the table, it is a miniature race-track. Six Miniature cars are placed at the start of the racetrack. A prediction is made as to which car is going to win the race. The top card of the deck is turned over and the particular brand of car it has on the face is shown. The corresponding miniature car moves one pace forward.

The first car to reach the finish line is compared with the prediction which of course matches. The cards are freely shuffled by the spectator and the performer need never touch the cards again. There can be a different car each time the effect is performed.
