Al Baker Slate by Dinucci Magic

Effect: From Al Baker’s mind c. 1927, this is one of the best and least well-known boards on the market. These slates are hand-made, look great and function perfectly. It can be used to make a prediction appear, change or disappear but is unlike any slate you have seen before.

Imagine you write a prediction on the slate, and this is shown to the audience in advance. Then you place the slate on the stand facing away from the audience (the back can be signed if you wish). You ask a spectator to choose a card and even though it doesn’t match the prediction, when you show what has been written it has magically changed to their card.
