Pony Boy Bang Gun by Magic Inc.
(c. 1980) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Finally a bang gun that looks like a gun! So often Bang guns look like some strange prop so the surprise is not so great. With this one, the gun is actually made out of a child’s toy so it looks much more realistic. Wonderful color on the banner too!
Effect: The performer produces a very fine looking pistol. He explains that it is fully charged with a high explosive and so properly prepares the audience for the big “Bang.” At the crucial moment instead of a large bang, the barrel opens up and swings around, making the barrel twice as long. A silk jumps down at the same instant on which is printed in large letters ‘Bang!’
