Twist Off by Eddie Gibson

Before all the modern electronic and magnetic gizmos came along this was the go to Nut off Bolt effect, and still one of my favorites with no batteries required!  The first version of the nut off bolt effect was created by Finn Hauger called Bolt of Lightning.  It was later improved and perfected by Anverdi as can be seen here.

Effect: A brass nut and a brass bolt are shown. The nut is threaded on the bolt. The assembled nut and bolt are covered with a handkerchief. The magician makes a magical pass and a movement is seen under the handkerchief. After the movement ceases the handkerchief is removed and it is seen that some mysterious force has removed the nut from the bolt.

No threads or magnets! This is truly a precision made prop.
