Spiritas (Mini S.M.) by Outlaw Effects

Talk about authentic – this beautiful creation from Outlaw Effects is perfect for that mysterious night in The Porcupine when The Macallan is flowing freely.  The Spiritas unit itself is 100% self contained  but this one also comes with the optional antique oak travel case with an extra drawer.   You can easily load this bad boy up with your whole act and be ready for some true wonders.

The Spiritas very cleverly hides two separate and powerful electro coils that combined can do all sorts of PK Effects.  Out of the box it comes with a wonderfully effective Spirit Bell which looks as clean as a whistle.  The bell can do single chimes or multiple chimes when you really want to get their attention (think Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad). The bell hangs from a rig that can be set-up right in front of their noses. The small Spiritas  can have items in the drawer or not but when they look inside they’ll find nothing fishy.  There are no switches on the box and although they cannot take the box apart from any angle it looks perfectly clean.

There is also a Pendulum that can make use of the same rig used for the bell and this allows for answers to yes/no questions.  It looks quite eerie to watch the pendulum swing back and forth in two different directions, which is only possible because of the two coils instead of one.

The electro coils on this are amazingly powerful and you can make PK items jump, fly off the top or knock down stacked piles of blocks.  It is fun to play with and see what you can achieve and how far certain things can fly 🙂

The other good thing about this unit is it uses standard AAA batteries and has two remotes: one for the hand and one to be operated by your foot.  So this should keep running for many years to come.

Ask a question of the spirit. The bell rings loud and crisp in response.
Replace the bell with the pendulum and ask a question. The pendulum silently swings toward Yes. Ask another question to the spirit and the pendulum swings toward No. The answers are under your control hands free at all times.

Remove the bell/pen rig and use various gaffed item accessories for additional presentations on top of the box.

This beautiful little piece is a mere 7 x 7 inches. With the small size and full size drawer filled with items this is an exceptionally deceptive piece.

Rig, pendulum and bell, dowels, Witch Runes and even a deck of my tarot cards all fit completely in the drawer for easy storage and easy traveling. Comes with a skeleton key for the drawer. The bell/pendulum rig is small enough to keep in a Pouch if you like, freeing up the drawer for all the additional items that can also be used like the gaffed Witch Runes, Tarot decks, Hobbs hand etc. (Extra items not included.)

The carrying case is 9 inches x 9 inches and 10 inches tall. When you set that odd little case down, and stare around the room at the guests, they will be looking at you and wondering what could be in this strange antique case. The show has begun…

You may start the presentation with a wonderfully bizarre backstory about the small mysterious case before them. Who may have owned it in the past? How did you acquired it? All the while they still have no idea what it is, yet they are captivated already. By the time you’re ready to open the box the suspense has everyone edgy.

When you do open it, and reveal the contents, your guests will be “wide eyed in wonder” at the arcane and bizarre items revealed. You have set the tone for the performance and what may be to come.
