Kent Bergmann is back with his amazing new line of magic: 3D Magic Works and the very positive reviews are flowing in.
This is a clever use of the paddle move to produce a unique Monte effect. The routine starts off normal enough where you try to find the red dot among the other blues. Then after a few tries the red dot changes to a green dot and finally the magician admits there was no way they could win, because all of the dots are now blue. Great little routine with paddles the growing number of paddles in the 3D Magic line.
Effect: A stand is presented with three paddles with black slide on covers. The three paddle are removed from the stand and set down on the table. The covers are removed one at a time to show the front and the back of each paddle, two paddles have blue spots on both sides and one paddle has a red spot on both sides. The performer points to paddle with the red spots and asks the spectator to carefully follow it. The performer places the covers back on the paddles and mixes the paddles around and asks the spectator where the red spot is . . . the spectator is always wrong. This can go on as long as desired. The performer finally admits he/she has been cheating and there really never was a red spot in play. Two of the paddles are shown with blue spots on both sides and one paddle actually has a never before seen green spot on both sides of the paddle. The spectator then places the covers back on the paddles and just before he/she is about to replace the paddles on the stand, the performer comes clean and lets the spectator know that he/she never had a chance and that the performer was playing with the spectators mind. The performer removes all the covers to reveal that there never was a second color . . . all three paddles now only have blue spots on the front and the back.
The light brown parts of this set are 3D printed using a beautiful filament that has been infused with genuine wood.
