(c. 1983) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: You borrow a spectator’s bank credit card which you “test” to see if it is good you put it in a small box and when it comes out it is totally blank except for the word “Overdrawn” on it. Of course the spectator wants his card back, for the little box is empty. You offer him one of yours, instead. You take your wallet from your pocket and offer it. Among the cards and bills he finds HIS card, inside a clear plastic compartment, and you give him one of your business cards, and all is clear.
The wallet can be examined, there is no sleight of hand, and the handling is easy.
