(c. 1982) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is a wonderful mini illusion first created by Wolfgang Grosskopf as Fluchtkiste.
Effect: Houdini eat your heart out! Here’s a clever little close-up miracle depicting the effect of Houdini’s famous illusion, the Substitution Trunk. The props do all the work for you, but you are able to switch the Magician (Jack) in the crate for the Assistant (Queen) in the sack. Even though you can clearly see them right to the very end. The transposition is instant and easy to do!

Here’s a neat little close-up miracle based on the Substitution Trunk. Two cards are shown the queen and the king, and they changes places very cleanly.
The props are well crafted and the effect is certainly easy to do and convincing.
