Mini Nest of Boxes (Nesting Lippincott Boxes) by Dave Powell

Effect: A spectator’s ring is borrowed and covered with a handkerchief. The spectator is asked to hold the ring over an empty martini glass. As the spectator holds the ring the magician removes a locked box from his coat pocket and places it in full view. The spectator is then asked to drop the ring into the glass. The magician whisks the handkerchief away from the glass and the ring has vanished completely. The spectator opens the locked box and finds another wooden box inside, when this is opened it reveals yet a third box. Upon opening the third box the spectator’s own borrowed ring is found inside.
