Maggie’s Nite Out/Illusive Half Dollar by Viking Mfg., Haenchen

(c. 1932,1988) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

Effect: A borrowed and marked half-dollar represents Jiggs; a wooden coin slide is used for his home, and a box with two doors is Dinty Moore’s Place. Jiggs leaves home, going to Dinty Moore’s…of course Maggie follows but can not find him. Each time she opens one of the swinging doors, she hears someone move over to the other side. This is repeated. Finally she manages to open BOTH doors at once. Jiggs has disappeared!

Puzzled, Maggie goes home only to find Jiggs right where he was supposed to be! It proves to be the MARKED coin and is returned. This is one of the finest “sucker” coin effects on the market. Both boxes are made of rare hardwood in beautiful natural finish. Comes complete with patter, ready to work. Jiggs’ house may be examined when returning the coin. REMEMBER THIS: Coin is heard AND SEEN actually sliding from side to side in Dinty Moore’s Place, and after the coin’s disappearance BOTH hands and box are shown unmistakably
empty!

A perfect effect, highly recommended.
