Little Fooler by Roydon

It is easy to do and really quite perplexing.
Effect: Magician displays a small plastic box with a hole thru each lid. He then threads a cord thru the holes in the lids, and then allows the spectator to hold both ends of the cords and also to hold the box shut so that nothing can enter the box.
A plastic washer is then caused to vanish, and when the spectator opens the box, the washer is found to have penetrated the box and is found threaded on the cord!!
